It is a journey of 120 kilometers to the Pacific Ocean. You will appreciate the diversity of the landscape of the Valley of Curacaví, to follow the Valley of Casablanca known for producing great white wine of Sauvignon Blanc, among others.
Known as the Garden City for its beautiful lawns and gardens. It is the largest resort in Chile for its grand architecture, its beaches, casino, palaces and modern buildings.

You can have lunch enjoying the varied cuisine of the area and you can see pieces of lapis lazuli, a stone that exists only in Chile and Afghanistan.

Viña Concha y Toro

The Maipo River Valley is the oldest wine region in Chile. Covers the city of Santiago and several nearby rural villages. The climate is warm temperate, the average annual rainfall is 350 mm, and its land is irrigated by water from the Andes.
In this valley there are different varieties, emphasizing the Cabernet Sauvignon. This particular soil and microclimate, coupled with the centennial winemaking tradition of the inhabitants originate a terroir (“terroir”) that gives the wine its unique and unmistakable personality.

For a couple of decades, the trend of the land with environmentally friendly methods, making increasing strength. It has also spread to viticulture, both in the treatment of the grape, and in the winemaking process, excluding the use of chemicals and benefiting nature and human health.

The concept requires strict organic way of cultivating the vine, following the natural cycles of plants and soils, and protecting the environment from pollution. Just meeting all the requirements, can be obtained international certification to market as organic wine.

Isla Negra - Pomaire
